I agree Woody; Thanks for the site and help you and all of you give,
I got in by using my user name, where before, according to RoboForm, I was using my email address.
Maybe this will help a few folks.
Nice work on the upgrade!
Mitch, welcome to the Lounge.
We try to discourage the use of a whole email address as your member ID. We have spammers trolling for email addresses as do all Forums. We would hate a spammer or worse to get your email address in this way.
I don't know what is going on, (I'm sure it's me) I go to post a question on the "Hardware" subject and I get Google translate instead of a place to post my question. Of course it tells me I'm in error as I'm writing in English and it is set to translate into English. Is this something I have screwed up on my pc or is it something to do with this change over?
Gee somebody help so I can ask my question
Opps as I said it was something I did, please forgive a newbie.......
Thanks for the great service and information to offer member.

The new version of The Lounge looks great, but I've got one question. If I follow a link such as http://windowssecrets.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/24-Other-MS-Apps, it takes me to a page with a yellow box welcoming me to the "shiny new version of The Lounge." Below the yellow box is a black one containing the words "Post New Thread."
However, if I attempt to reach the Lounge from the home page for Windows Secrets, from within Newsletter Archives, or from within What's New, your new program takes me to a Lounge page without the black box. Other than following a thread such as the one above, is there a way to post a new thread? If so, please tell me me how to use this alternative method of posting new threads.
As a subscriber to Windows Secrets, I've found your articles to contain timely information. Thanks for your help in posting new threads without using a link such as http://windowssecrets.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/24-Other-MS-Apps.
Charles, Welcome to the Lounge.
If you are at the Newsletter home page or the Archives, click on the Lounge Link in the top banner to go directly to the Lounge home page. In order to get the Post New Thread link you have to go to one of the various Forums, for example, click on Windows 8. The Win 8 Forum opens and you will see the Post New Thread link. Bottom line is you must go to a particular Forum before you can Post a new thread.
Thank you Woody.
Whoo - hope thisgoes well.
but please, PLEASE, can we have a special forum area for malware problems?
