    IE8 and Chrome redirects.

XP SR 2. Just reinstalled because of spyware / virus progs.
    (Compaq Presario recover with format.)

Still have issues with redirect when searching or putting links in address bar.

Some sites redirected to are findstuff.com, icityfind.com, myyearbook.com, etc.

Searching for solutions I found combofix.exe. Any opinions on this?

Or does anyone have a better solution / idea to get this software off computer?

    I'd appreciate any thoughts.

    Thanks.

    Red face ComboFix

Hi : Best to read through the ComboFix "Tutorial" at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/comb...o-use-combofix . Please note in its "Introduction" where it says : "Due to the power of this tool it is STRONGLY ADVISED that you do not attempt to act upon any of the information displayed by ComboFix without supervision from someone who has been properly trained . " Those who have been properly trained are certified "Malware Removal Specialists" and are Volunteers that can be found on forums such as the One at http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/forums.html
