Many Timeouts today in trying to connect to WSL

I wonder if the many timeouts I've experienced today might be due to the high volume of users since it also corresponds with the WS Newsletter. I've had to try no less than a dozen times and wondered if anyone else is experiencing this. I have resorted to rebooting, which does nothing to alleviate the issue. Then, I am in without any issue. Just curious since I'm a new user if this is to be expected.

Had the same problem here. It resolved itself after 30 mins or so.

I had to increase the amount of RAM available to the web server running Windows Secrets. This is the first Thursday (the newsletter goes out Wednesday evening) having both the main site and the Lounge on the same web server. The available memory was maxing out and causing the server to swap to disk which is incredibly slow. It was hard to model the CPU and memory requirements before the migration took place so this should be a one time event.
