Re: Kudo's

Dave,

For me, I thought I'd hate the flat mode when it camwe along. Like you, I enjoyed having my frames to move about. However, that was at work on my 21 inch monitor- it became a bit of a pain on my 15 inch monitor at home.

The new forum is great- and I am enjoying it heaps. Thanks to Eileen and Amdragon for such a great job. I don't rememeber the old forum being nearly as active as this one (I don't think that's just selective memory).

The only bit I have a little problem about is replying to a post, and not being able to browse all previous replies as I post.

Just a thought- would a new post opening a new window be of any use to anybody else? (it could even be another button- or option button- with the default to do the same as it's doing.

But then, Eileen is retired. I can certainly understand why she got tired in the first place

It'd be an awful mess, that's fersure!
And you'd lose all your Read markers.

Gotta train that short-term memory of yours...

It's not where the server is that counts, it is where all the users are.

That must mean it's time to go to lunch here in Switzerland.

Re: Kudo's

Eileen,

Sorry, I've missed something here.

If I click on help, or a link, I get a new window opening. That doesn't mess up my read markers, and I can cope OK- it doesn't seem to be any sort of mess. I think it's great to have a link in a new window, and still have my original message open in my main window.

But that's cool, if I need to refer back, I'll just open up a new window myself.

I do appreciate your work. Sorry Mummy for suggesting even more work for you

When you click on a link or on Help it isn't neccessary to keep track of any count!
