Deleting unwanted items from Navigation pane.

I have Outlook 2010. I've removed the buttons at the bottom of the Navigation Pane, but for my troubles I now have them listed under my Inbox, etc, and I can't remove them.

I really do not want Tasks, Notes, Search Results, Search Folders, Journal, etc. I have programs that manage this kind of thing much better. I'd like to remove RSS Feeds as well, but that's welded on. However, I do want to keep Calendar and Contacts.

Any idea how I can remove these? I'm not averse to changing the registry if that's the only way to go.

Seems as though you are using the folder view in the nav pane. Try using the Mail view (CTRL+1).
