    Volume button sensitivity

Does anyone know how to change the sensitivity of the volume control buttons on a keyboard? I have a stock Gateway keyboard in Win7 x64, no special config utilities. By default, the volume up/down buttons adjust the system volume by 1% per press, making them very slow at changing the volume. I'd like to change that to 5-10% if possible. I dug around in control panel and didn't find anything. Does anyone know of a tweak or hack to do this?

There might be a keyboard driver from Gateway to use for this. I would check on the Gateway site and look for the Drivers and Downloads section.
