    Duplicate file names

This morning I saved an image from an email and named it "SNOW.JPG' forgetting I already had an older image with the same name.

As you can see from the attached image they are both side by side in My Documents with the SAME FILE NAME...

I wasn't prompted to OVER WRITE the older image.

The image on the right is the older image and the left one is the one I saved this morning...

I checked the properties of each image and they both have the same name..

I mean, I have had a lot of strange things happen in Windows but never anything like this.

Any Ideas on how this happened?

    Banyarola,
Hello... This must be an issue with Windows "7" , as i also have noticed this happening. I just "rename" one or the other, don't know how fix this. Maybe some of the lounge "big dogs" will . Regards Fred

That's probably because you're looking in the Documents within the Libraries 'feature'? Check the Properties > Details tab for the folder path for each file.

Well Fred, It may have happened before but I never noticed it..

At least it's not unique to me.

I would like to hear what others have to say about it....
