Bypass Vista Login screen No password available

Hello all, I have a Toshiba laptop that was given to me and it has no CD/DVD that came with it. It has Vista Home premium installed. The laptop boots up and asks for the login password. Except I do not have it. Any ideas or suggestions to be able to bypass this and log in?

    Thank you

Are you unable to obtain the info from the person who gave you the Toshiba? If not, check out this How To on Lifehacker.com. It shows you how to use Ophcrack to locate the logon password. You can download Ophcrack for Vista here.

Please do not dredge up these very old threads. They have most likely been solved long ago.
