in Xp I was able to have the folders of the c:/drive on the left hand side and when I clicked on a folder then on the right hand side I had the contents of that particular folder, but I still had the C:/ drive folders on the left hand side as well. My win7 only has My Computer on the left hand side which means I have difficulty moving a file into a folder , because there is no folder on the left hand side. I would like to know if the C:/folders can be shown on the left side and when a folder on the left side is opened then the contents can be seen on the right hand side

What you want is exactly what I see in Windows Explorer with Win 7.

Ok John you helped me solve my problem by showing me what you see, I went to view and clicked on folders and got what I wanted
