Thumbs down Access denied to Documents and Settings!

I want to back up my Favorites and believe they reside in the D&S folder.

In Explorer, when I attempt to expand the D&S folder, a pop-up tells me that I do not have permission to access this.

I have logged on as the Administrator.

Why would I not be able to view this folder?

Documents & Settings is one of the legacy folders that is only present for compatability purposes for older applicatons. You should navigate to C:\Users\YourUsername. The Favorites folder will there.

Alternatively, type %USERPROFILE% in the Explorer address bar.

Documents and Settings is a junction folder introduced in Vista for program compatability. See this link for a detailed explanation.
