Printing email with multiple attachments (Oultlook 2000)

When anyone in my firm prints a message with multiple attachments, the attachments replace every-other letter in the message for as many attachments as there are. For instance if there were three attachments and my message began with the word "Outlook," the letters "O" and "t" and "o" would be replaced with the icons of the attachments. We regularly print emails and put them in a file and this makes them hard to read. I have not been able to find a solution to this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The problem is because you are sending the e-mail in Plain Text format. In the e-mail, if you change it to Rich Text, then you should be fine. We just found this problem and the solution 2 weeks ago.

If you use Docs Open as a DMS, I know that their e-mail feature automatically changes the e-mail type to Plain Text, even if you use Rich Text or HTML format as your default.

    Hope this helps,
    Becky
