    Save or Export email message

Is there a way to save an email message to My Documents from Thunderbird or Yahoo. Using either XP or Win7.

In normal circumstances, an email has to be opened first before it can be saved. I don't know about your programs, it works for me with Windows Live Mail.

I have since remembered how to do it, copy and paste it into word pad and then save it. Old age is playing games with me. Tanks anyway.

In Thunderbird you can right click on the message and click on Save As, then save it wherever as a .eml file or as .html.
    The keyboard shortcut is ctrl-S.
