    Cool Win7 Disable Log On P/W

    Hi Loungers, is it possible to disable the password to log on after using 'log off' ?
    I have the need to enter my password on start up disabled. OS Win7 Home Prem.

    Hi Roderunner:
    To do that I:
    hit the windows logo key
    type "control userpasswords2" w/o the quotes
    uncheck the "user must enter . . ."

    I hope that's what you're asking to do,

    Can you not do this in User account. ? Panel -> Users Account -> Remove PW ! Kid's stuff ! Jean.

    Very strange as it works here. Just for you, I "switched user", entered the required PW and it switched. I then went to Panel -> User Accounts and REMOVEd the PW. Then again, I switched user and no PW was asked, given nor typed and I got on again. Am I being too blunt again ?

    NB: I reset my PW again. This works for Log off and also for Switch User. What am I missing in your English ?
