    Unhappy Serious Lounge performance problems

    In the last couple of days, on several occasions, it has been impossible to post to the Lounge or even to load the new posts page. It's been so bad that I actually tried three times to post about the performance issues, and gave up, as the pages simply wouldn't load or the posts wouldn't go through.

    I am in Europe and this happens even at times where most people of the US should be sleeping, so supposedly times where the likelihood of big Lounge traffic seems small. I think the situation needs correction, as this is quite detrimental to posting, and obviously, to getting access to what has been posted.

    I am also sure that this is a Lounge issue and not something cause by my connection. I have a very fast connection and tested several websites, all loading properly.

    I have had the same problems right here in the US. It seems that the servers have periodically stopped working, or something like that. All other sites seem to be working fine, but not the new Lounge. During these periods the Lounge will not open in IE 9 RC 32 Bit browser, IE 9 RC 64 Bit browser or Chrome 10 beta browser, so I suspoect it's not my system, but the new Lounge system.

    Same here, I was waiting to see if anyone else has had these exact same issues. The performance issue appears to be more or less random for me, but mainly at night and
    in the morning.

    I'm not sure about our current hosting arrangements now that we are part of the iNet Interactive family. Some previous hosting arrangements were subject to slowdowns during nightly backups (it was night time in Thailand, which wasn't the most convenient time for other users!).

    I've run into the same problem where accessing the lounge would just hang. I just open another browser tab and surf other sites and usually within 5 minutes the Lounge tab starts working again.

    It's been hanging for me as well. In fact, it was hung up for the past 15 minutes.

    At the bottom of the page is a clock that will tell last time refresh worked.
