    Intel CPU problem

    Hello all,
For all you "do it yourself" PC builders a "heads up" Seems that Intel "SandyBridge" (graphics in the CPU) architecture has a problem http://newsroom.intel.com/community/...nting-solution A bit "long winded " explanation" but if your considering a new CPU definitely worth the time. Regards Fred

    Hi Fred,

To put it correctly, as the linked article states, the problem is not with the SandyBridge CPUs, but the supporting chipset. As far as I could read, it's not even certain that the problem would show itself right now, but would show itself over time, at least in some cases. For anyone with products with SandyBridge CPUs, the advice suggested in the technical press, would be contact the manufacturer, to have the products replaced.
