Request password to print in a network

    Hello

This is the scenario: A school with ten computers, all with Windows XP Professional SP3, networked through a switch. A HP laser printer USB connected, which is accessed through the computer #1.

Anyone can print directly from any computer; but what is needed now is that before sending the document to print, the system must prompt for a password.

    Can be done?

    Thanks

Yes, but Windows will offer to remember the password. Not really a fix.
A search for "print quota" returns a few possibilities, but I can't see any freebies.

    cheers, Paul
