windows cannot display the web page

I get this message when I go to a page and the page loads then quickly goes to the cannot display this. Sometimes the back button will let me load the page but sometimes not. Same with refresh.
    Anybody else?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Also the URL you are accessing would help. If you have turned off scripting (one turned off one of several other features) the web page could be written to display the "cannot display web page" message if it requires scripts to be enabled to properly display the page. On the other hand, it could just be a poorly-designed web page.

    Hi and welcome

If it is just one site it may be them, if more than one it could be a setting in your anti-virus or firewall. When you boot into safe mode (F8) with networking does it do the same thing? Can we get your system specs and network setup so we know what hardware you are using?
