    Net Assistant redirect page

    Hi All,

When I try to go to a link in a currently open website I continue to get an redirect to a Net Assistant website. I don't have any issues with Google when I originally click on a website, just when I try to go to something else inside an open site. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you using Internet Explorer or Firefox? Net Assistant is a Microsoft add on to Firefox. If you are using Internet Explorer, Go to Tools > Manage Add Ons and see if you find it there. If so, disable it. I would also download and run Malwarebytes .
Aniother thing to verify is Control Panel> Internet Options> Connections tab > Lan Settings and make sure "Use a proxy server...." is not checked.

AFTER you follow,Jerry's advice.I would also like to suggest to down load,High Jack This here;http://www.majorgeeks.com/Trend_Micr...his_d5554.html
Please,READ the notes below the the down load FIRST!
Make sure you Update the Malwarebytes program also.DO NOT run both programs @ the same time.
I would run the Malwarebytes first, then reboot your computer then run the HijackThis. The best of luck to you.

Any chance this could be as simple as your temp internet files and cookies/history needing to be cleared. I have seen some strange behavior that was elliminated when I cleared the cache.
