Word 2010 Customized Ribbon and Macro Name

When I go to add a macro to a custom ribbon, the macro shows up with the macro symbol and not the name of the macro. Is there a way to have just the title of the macro appear. Let us say that I have a macro to insert data. Can the name "Insert Data" be placed on the ribbon without symbols and extra verbiage. I was able to do that in Word 2007 with some ribbon customizer apps. Thanks.

I was able to get the ribbon to accept a name for the macro. But it also comes with an icon (it does allow a choice of icons). Is there any way to just have the name without an icon? Thanks.

    Hi
I am now using office 2010. I still use the Custom UI editor that I was using with 2007 and do things the same way to create the customised ribbon xml.
Maybe I am an old dog unwilling to use new tricks. I found I have more control with the Custom UI app than using the embedded customising tool.

    Good luck
    Geof
