CyberLink Power Starter 5.x

I ran a Secunia PSI scan, it told me the Cyberlink power starter 5.x was a end-of-life program and potentially exposes my system to security threats. Laptop runs on Vista Home Premium SP2.

Do I uninstall it? Or do I need it to make the CD/DVD drive work? If I need it, would I update it on CyberLink's site. (EDIT Where it isn't to be found, at least no free program with the same name!). Secunia says 5.x is no longer supported.
