ZeuS Trojan reinvents itself as bots rock on

    By Woody Leonhard

One of the most pernicious forms of malware ever written, ZeuS has taken a more sinister turn, despite a highly publicized, worldwide series of arrests and the self-announced retirement of its creator.

ZeuS is not just a bit of malicious code; using multilevel marketing and quick-change attack strategies, it's a malware system and possibly the most pervasive threat on the Net.

    VOIP - vulnerability to Trojans

I use VOIP and phone my bank etc with my personal info before they will answer questions regarding my account. How secure is this or is VOIP also vulnerable?
    I never use on-line banking etc .

One other step that's essential to preventing malware infections: keep all browser-related software (Adobe Flash and Reader, QuickTime, Java, etc.) up-to-date. If you need help or reminders, use free software such as Secunia PSI.

Woody mentioned LastPass and RoboForm in his article about protecting passwords... does anyone know how effective Keyscrambler is? I've been using it for a year or so, but haven't seen any reports on its strength or effectiveness. Doug
