    computer hijacked by security alert

I have a computer that has been hijacked by a virus.
I get a Warning Security Alert screen referencing NPFMNTOR.EXE and another screen references Windows Troublemakers Agent

I couldn't find references to this on forum, maybe I used the wrong search terms because I can't be the first to have this problem

Best way to remove this? Suggestions for other sites?
    Thanks.

Try downloading and running the free version of Malwarebytes Antimalwre.

I get a similar alert from one site I use...

In the future, always shut the fake alert down using Task Manager and not by clicking on the alerts close or X button.
