If you run Vista or Windows 7 upgrading to IE9 is a "no brainer". There is no good reason not to upgrade.

Well, I may install it today.
I want to take screen shots of my browser now so I can try to set up IE9 the same way.

Also, I plan to make a FULL NEW image just before I upgrade....

I'm not taking any chances no matter how much everyone says it's great...

Do you un-install IE 8 before 9? Does Google or MS have a 'path' to perform the un-install? I assume I can 'grab' an install of 9 from Google or MS. Thanks. Jim

From what I have read you don't have to.
Besides, I don't think you can un-install IE8 becuse you need it to install IE9...

No need to uninstall IE8. The IE9 installer will take care of that.
