logo in doc can file size of logo be determined?

    HI
we have been receiving incoming email attachments being word documents.
The word documents have other company corporate logos inserted/embedded into the docs.
The formats are either bitmaps, paintbrush or word art.

Is there a way to determine just the file size of logo?
    TIA DIana

    Diana,

I don't know if there is a snappy way to find that out, but here's a very low-tech way:

Make a copy of the file.
Delete the logo from the copy of the file, save and close.
Compare the file size of the original file and the copy file.
The difference should give a rough idea of the size of the logo.

I have already applied what you suggested.
Deleting the logo from file & save - compare file size.

The result was the file size actually increased
    orginal size 118lk
    removed logo 160k
    I didnt get it???
thats why I thought there may be an alternative method in word - or another method.
