IE 9 Slow to load Windows Secrets Web Pages.

I have just installed IE 9 on my Win 7 32bit machine, and noticed an immediate speed improvement on all the websites I visited except for any Windows Secrets websites, which take a very lon time to load.

I did not have this problem with IE 8.

If anyone can tell me the reason for this I would be grateful.

    Thanks and regards,
    Roy

Many of us have had intermittent slowdown of Windows Secrets Lounge after the new Lounge was rolled out. This does not seem to be associated with IE 9.

I wonder whether you are building up a new cache. If that's the reason, it should improve pretty quickly. If it remains markedly slower than IE8, perhaps one of the vBulletin scripts or one of the advertising providers is not fully compatible with IE9?

I've just switched to IE 9 a few days ago and have not noticed any slow down as far as the browser is concerned.
But the lounge has been, in the recent past, experiencing slow downs and freezes which the site designers have acknowledged and are
    working on.

And in point of fact while checking Clint's answer, It took over 30 seconds to load this page. Then everything went back to normal. That's when I use another tab and check out another page while waiting for the Lounge to catch up.

I have had that happen also...
Sometimes I wait a few minutes and then come back and it's fine..

I suspect it's something internal happening on the lounge....

    Thanks for all the comments.

Windows Secrets now loads quickly, so I guess the previous slowdown I experienced was due to the point made by jscher2000.
