    Mysterious Empty Folders

    Mysterious empty folders have started appearing in my C:\Users\Roy\AppData\Local folder,for example one created today when I started my computer named {ACA06564-1AB3-4165-824A-4FA3DB4A62CA}

    Does anyone have any ideas about this behaviour?

    Please advise.

    Thanks and regards,Roy

    Folders with GUID names are usually associated with installations, either for software or for updates. Process Monitor from sysinternals (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s...rnals/bb896645) should be able to tell you what process is accessing that folder.
