Acronis 2011 for $14.99 after disc and MIR

This looks like a decent deal for Acronis 2011 at Newegg. Final cost is $14.99 after Newegg discount and $10 Acronis mail in rebate. FREE Shipping.

    tfspry,
Hello... Just a warning for any who wish to try Acronis 2011 ...You should read through a few of the posts on their forum first http://forum.acronis.com/forums/acro...-true-image-ho....For me for now... I'm sticking with 2010 V-7046, for my Vista and "7" Os's ... and would recommend to purchase 2010 (and stick at v-7046) over 2011....even if Acronis paid me 24.99 for 2011 Regards Fred

PS: You can get a good free backup program from Macrium Reflect http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp.. I use both, and it is not quite as fast as Acronis but it will "kick the pants off " the "windows flavor". Will make a "boot disk" and has an easy to use interface.

I use both 2010 v 7046 (wife's PC) and 2011 (my PC) and find both easy to use and very effective. I would recommend either for use with Win 7.

I have TI 2010...Lots of bugs in all the versions and they never fix them.....

I d/l Macrium and am gonna try the free version.
I may use both just in case TI fails on a restore...

Versions previous to 2010 restored fine but I haven't needed to restore yet using 2010...
