    IE_9 and 1&1 Web Mail

    I use 1and1 as a ISP. If I try to send web mail from IE_9 (and FF_4 as well), it gives me no indication of having been sent, but is in fact sent -- I get it back in my Inbox.

    This isn't a browser issue, since I have it with both browsers. 1and1 tested from their end on my e-mail account, and it works from their end. So is this an IE_9 issue, a java issue (which I just re-installed after I noticed the problem) or a Windows 7 calamity?

    I don't mind fixing it if I know what to fix!

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    What do you get in the inbox? An NDR or the original mail.

    Can you run the site in compatability mode?

    What kind of indication are you expecting? Something in Sent Items??

    Jefferson / Joe;

    When I was finally able to get them on the phone, they tried everything for about an hour. The next day, I went back to IE 8, and the problem went away. I, being the nice guy that I am, called to let them know.

    They THEN told me that their web mail wasn't IE 9 compatible as yet.

    Harumph!
