    where are the table and query descrptions

    I classifieid my tables and my queries using descriptions in office 2003, but as a newbee to Access 2010 I have not been able to view and or sort tables or queries by the description property. Where are they?

    Unfortunately that capability doesn't exist in Access 2010 - the Navigation Pane is more limited than the old database container window. You can see the description if you right click on a table name in the Nav Pane, and you will then see the description. There are some other capabilities added by the Nav Pane, such as creating groups, but most people agree that the Navigation Pane was a step backwards.
