    Replace Text (Excel 2000)

I have a user who recently wished to do a find & replace on * (as in XYZ*001) - she wished to replace it with a zero. Unfortunately * is a wildcard and just replaces everything.

Any takers, or is it just the way it is?

    "~*" will find literal "*".
