If you mean a Shortcut to the Lounge do this:

Open the page on the Lounge you want displayed when you click on the shortcut. Copy the URL. Right click on an empty spot on the desktop and select New > Shortcut. Paste the URL in the box beside Browse and click Next. Type in the name of your choice and click Finish. A new Shortcut should now appear on your desktop.

If you're using Firefox you can simply drag the URL of the Lounge to a toolbar. Don't know if you can do this in IE.

Note that junebug's post will work for placing a shortcut to any web page on the desktop.

If you are running IE9 you can drag the site icon to the taskbar. It will be pinned there for easy access.
