    USB Modem drivers wont load

I have Windows 64-bit OS on a Dell 1764. Have tied to install huawei USB broadband modems on 2 separate occasions, latest being Huawei K4505. everything loads except the USB modem driver. No problem loading on my wife's 32-bit Windows 7 machine. Any ideas how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
    TIA Jon

It reads like it won't load because Windows can't find 64-bit drivers for it. Check the makers and your ISP's websites for 64-bit drivers. Alternatively, try accessing Windows Update (via a different connection, obviously) with the USB modem connected, MS may have a driver available.
