    Compare and move

    Hi,
I have two spreadsheets. One contains items I sell and their price. The other is from the vendor and contains many more items that I don't sell. I would like to have Excel compare the two and if items I sell are on the vendor spreadsheet, copy the new price from the vendor spreadsheet to mine (update my costs)
    Thanks in advance!

Hi Skip - Sounds like that should be easy to do with VLOOKUP. There should be a common element (such as item # or part name, etc.) between your sheet and the vendor's sheet. Do a VLOOKUP from your sheet to the vendor's sheet.
