    Create Event (97SR2)

I saw it somewhere but now can't find it. Who knows the API call to create a Windows NT/2000 Event Log entry?

I'm amending this post 'cause I found a partial answer.
The function is called ReportEvent and it works pretty well.

The only thing I'd like to improve is I'd like to see the
username in the Event log entry. I only get N/A in that
column. Can anyone shed some light on how to get the
    user's name in the entry?

I don't have it in front of me but have you read the Sept issue of Visual Studio Mag? It has an article about writing to the NT Event Log..

Thanks for the tip. I've downloaded the code for that issue and I'll take a look.
