Who posted in Shared Calendar? (Outlook 2000 or 97/Exchange Server 5.5 SR4)

    Good afternoon,

How can you tell who made the entry in a Calendar?

We have Exchange 5.5 SP4 servers. A generic mail account was set up for a Conference Room. The person who manages it has shared the Calendar. The default rights have been set so anyone can create an entry but have to contact the owner to make any deletions.

If the person who makes the entry forgets to add their contact information how can you tell which mail account contacted the shared Calendar to make the entry? The information must be stored in there somewhere since you can select a Permission Role that would allow a user to delete only their own entries.

Thank you very much for any help in this area.

add another field to the view - either organizer or from field (both are the same, name changes based on item type)

in table view, right click on field names and choose field chooser. you can use either field and get it from any item type, if it's not in frequently used fields. drag it to the field row and you're all set.
