    Google Redirect Virus

    Hi,
Has anybody had any success in removing a Google Redirect Virus? I have tried Malware Bytes, Spybot Search & Destroy & others, with no sucess (I am using Microsoft Security Essentials on a Win 7 64-bit machine). Are there any recommended commercial products? Thank you.

Which version of the virus do you have? Is MSE running or has it been disabled?

I manually cleaned a redirect virus off wife's laptop running Seven, after Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware and BitDefender Rescue disk all passed the system off as clean.

I used Autoruns to locate the suspect item, killed the process with Process Explorer, then deleted the identified files and registry entries. See my posts here for details.
