    view previous documents

    Is there a way to view previous documents in win7 as it is possible in xp by clicking start than documents?

    Try this: Right click the 'Taskbar', click 'Properties', select the 'Start Menu' tab, click 'Customize', in the dialog displayed, check off the appropriate menu link, 'Recent Items'

    You could also pin Word to the taskbar. Then right-click on the Word icon in the taskbar and your recent documents will show up. This works for the most recently used items for any application. Search for "windows 7 jump lists" for more details.
