    Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working

A classic error, to be sure, but I have it on two different computers within the past few days. I have made assorted new installs and updates, but most of all the whizzbang Update Tuesday in full, or as nearly as I could get it so. This includes both 64-bit and 32-bit computers, with one full 64-bit Office (which computer was not affected).

It had to be recent, and I would like to ask if any other users have encountered it.

    Are your video drivers up-to-date?

Have you checked the event logs?

Have you run SFC /SCANNOW from an elevated command prompt?
