    Windows 7 updates

Has someone found an efficient way to locate whether a specific Windows 7 update has been installed? In the list available through the control panel there appears to be no way to search by KB number. Visually scanning is slow and exhausting. Any
    suggestions?

This is the easiest way I know to check: Control Panel, Programs and Features, View Installed Updates:

Still involves looking through the updates manually, but does not seem to take a lot of time.

Hi jst-me, and welcome to the Lounge!

Viewing Installed Updates in Programs and Features lists only the installed updates that can be uninstalled. For a comprehensive viewing of all updates on your Windows 7 PC, go to Windows Update and click on View update history. This will list every update on your computer.
