    Forwarded email;

    I have spent alot of time trying to find a way to enable me to remove the > from re-forwarded email. I have heard that an Outlook 2000 "Addin" would accomplish this chore but I cannot find it or any other applicable source. If possible please provide a resolution.
    Thank You,

    i don't know of any addins but you can browse slipstick.com to see.

    search and replace works - search for >> and replace with nothing. As long as the text doesn't contain any carets symbols you want kept, search for > and replace with nothing. to remove them from mail you want kept, use the edit menu to open the message for editing.

    if using word as your editor, you can easily remove them using either automatic formatting or by holding down a key and dragging the cursor to select columns of text then deleting. it's either the control or alt key, i don't have word available to refresh my memory. search and replace works here too.

    MJ,
    Thank You...I should have tried the "search and replace" prior to my msg.

    don't feel bad, it's one of the most overlooked features.
