    Odd Message in IE 9

While using IE9 every now and then while reading an online newspaper I get the following message.

    What's with this ???

This just means that the web site you are visiting utilizes the Google Toolbar and wants to add that Add On to you PC. If you do not want to do this simple X out. Which search engine do you normally use with your IE 9. Perhaps the web page would prefer Google if this is not your default engine. (Note: Bing is the default search engine for IE 9 unless you have changed it yourself)

If you do not use the Google Toolbar uninstall it. Toolbars have consistently been one of the biggest aggravations in IE for many years. Memory leaks, security problems, & browser hangs have been the main issues.

I have it disabled and I have no idea how to uninstall it...
There are other add-ons I would also like to uninstall too but can't..

When I right click on it the REMOVE option is greyed out, not only on Google but the others I would like to get rid of..

I thought the Google Toolbar could be uninstalled from the Control Panel. Many addons can be uninstalled that way.

Well, the Google tool bar isn't in AdRemove but the Bing bar is....

I'd uninstall every toolbar that is not in use. You might try the free version of Revo Uninstaller to see if that can help.

Unless the Google toolbar got installed as part of another Google product I don't know why it isn't listed. You could always try installing it again from Google and then uninstalling it.
