Question Get rid of wrong e-mail auto addresses?

When I attempt to send an e-mail, I type the e-mail address into the address box. When typing, almost immediatley, all of the former addresses I have used appear in a box for me to use if I want too. Several of these are wrong due to typing errors. My question is, how to I delete the addresses I no longer want in this box? It also happens in Facebook and other applications I use.

    Thanks!

    Charles (Mike) Parker

Try holding the Ctrl key and pressing Delete key on names you don't want.

I usually just move the cursor key down so that an unwanted address is highlighted, and press Del...

Another option would be to download and install Nirsoft's NK2Edit utility. With this utility you can edit / delete / view the NK2 file records used in email addresses and the drop-down list you speak of. I would encourage you to check it out. I had the same desire as you, and it was just what I needed (and more!).
