Boot Manager for Multiple Bootable Partitions

    Hi,

I am looking at ways whereby I can boot up from more than the default of 4 bootable primary partitions. I am hoping that there is a solution whereby I can boot from 6-8 partitions.

If you have explored this before or have any suggestions, kindly share with me.

    Thank you so much.

    JFYI......

If that HD crashes, you've lost everything. I won't take that chance with all my data.
When I want to run different OS's, I put each one on a separate hard drive and choose which one to boot from,
with the Boot Menu provided by my MSI motherboard. I just press the F11 key on boot and get a nice little menu of every Drive attached to my system, even a bootable Flash Drive or SD Flash media card.

Likewise, I can wipe out any HD and reprogram it for a different OS, without affecting any other OS. I just did it last week, with Win-7.

Remember the old saying, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket".

    Good Luck,

Not so much today, but probably soon, watch for Citrix XenClient. A bare metal hypervisor for workstations that will do away with this issue. I suspect that once its production there will be a free base level version and paid for versions will have tool designed for enterprise environments. Anyway, there is a version that you can play with now.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I am in a Training environment. Therefore, I need a good Boot Manager so that I can deploy classes quickly.
