I have created a few special folders in Outlook 2007 and created rules to route messages from the Inbox to them. When I reply to email in the Inbox the email appears in the Sent Items folder as expected, however when I reply to email from one of my custom folders it does not. Is there some setting I can change to get ALL emails I reply to regardless of the folder they are in to be placed in Sent Items?

2011-04-29 13:33In Tools | Options | Preferences (Tab) | E-mail Options (button) | Advanced E-mail Options (button) | Save messages (section) check that "In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with the original message" is not checked.
