    IE Favorites Icons

The icons of several of my favorites have changed, and I can't change them back. Can you advise me how to change the icons to the icon that was used? I know how to change an icon on a regular file, but am not sure where to get the icon that I need for the favorite file.

    Thanks!

The favicons may have been overwritten. You can use a free program such as AM-Deadlink to check your favorites and download favicons. The downloaded icons are kept in a folder separate from your TIF so the icons will be permanently assigned.

Try the followinf: Copy and paste into Notepad, save to desktop (I called mine Rebuild Icons) as a .bat file. Click on the batch file you created to rebuild the icons. Works for many, mat work for favs as well.
