    IPv6 Security

I read somewhere that Windows 7 Homegroups uses IPv6 to communicate locally. What concerns me the most is that IPv6 is automatically implemented in Windows 7 and opens our computers to direct Internet connection. Firewalls work because we typically are NAT behind the firewall. But with IPv6, each computer gets their own IP address and can be communicated to by other systems. I am trying to better understand the security risks we face with IPv6 implementations and especially with World Day IPv6 coming June 8, 2011.

I also understand that the old method of using Blacklists will breakdown rapidly with IPv6 when the bad guys can change their IP addresses as fast as we can add the address to the Blacklist!
