Links quit changing color after being read

URLs links and such no longer change color after being read or clicked on. Runnin IE9 with Win 7 SP1.

I have deleted my IE history and that seems to help for awhile; but it returns; I have never had this issue in the past on other IE versions. This is an annoying issue. I have History space setting at max, 1024; and days saved is set to 10.

    TIA ....remski

Have you checked your setting at Tools | Internet Options | General (tab) | Appearance (section) Colors (button)?

    Thanx Joe-----

Yes, the Use Windows Colors is checked!

I again deleted my History file....and it now works again ... just like it did the first time! I have now also changed the Save History Days from 10 to 6. I'm not using IE9 any differently than I have for years with previous IE versions ...so I cannot understand this phenom?
