Secunia PSI warning about Active Bar 1.x

Anybody else here receive a red flag from Secunia last week concerning an end-of-life/security warning about the Data Dynamics Active Bar 1.x Active X control (ActBar.ocx)?

I unregistered it with Nirsoft's RegDLLView, but cannot for the life of me figure out which application might have been using it. Does anyone have any ideas? Here is a link to a thread at the Secunia community forum:

In my case it was installed by Legacy Family Tree v. 7.5.77 (build date 4/26/2011). The Legacy Support website says the program won't function correctly without it and provides a link to re-download it should it go missing. I don't know if they plan a solution. http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/helpDLL-OCX.asp

and I just found this: Legacy User Group

wow, talk about a latecomer... but it only popped up on my box recently!
the point is, is there ANY way to find out which program is using it? certainly not Legacy Family Tree, never even heard of it ....
without this info it is just about hopeless trying to decide what to do with it, short of just deleting it to find out which program quits working ... anyone knows of a better way?
    thanks

You may think, as I do, that these end of life warnings are less important than actual security warnings. If you do, you can simply add an ignore rule and the warning will go away.
