Can no longer view graphics in ie based browsers

Or any other ie based browser.
I updated my ati drivers cuz the new drivers were supposed to significantly improve browsing in Firefox4. Now I can't view graphics in IE based browsers.
I eventually figured out how to rollback to a previous version (it wasn't easy), but the problem persists.
Any suggestions as to what to do next?
    TIA

You might have to uninstall and reinstall IE9. Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features, choose the View installed updates link to the left. Find IE9 and uninstall it. This will move you back to IE8. Then re-download and reinstall IE9.

Graphics drivers are one area where "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". graphics drivers seem to cause more weird problems than most other drivers.

Yeah, I had that same thought. I did a system back up, but that didn't help. I'll try the uninstall and post back.

If all appears ok, might create an Image, then try IE9 again. I would still think the graphics driver caused the problem. Check out the Security and Backup forum for numerous threads on Imaging.

Did you have tracking protection enabled in IE9? That can act as an adblocker and restrict images.

Was content being filtered by ActiveX filtering? Small blue circle with a slash though it at the end of the address bar.
