Want To Permanently Get Rid of Suggested Sites Button!

Using Internet Explorer 8 on a Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) machine.

I went to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab -> Unchecked Enable Suggested Sites. And yet the Suggested Sites icon comes back over and over again!

What do I need to do to get rid of it once and for all?

Is this a personal or corporate PC?

Is there more than one user?

Well, it is for two PCs that belong to me and another one that is corporate... They all use Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) and they all have Internet Explorer 8.
The two PCs at home are single-user. The only one that has a login screen is the corporate one but, apart from the Administrator, I am the only other user that logs in daily.

The two PCs at home are not networked in any manner with the PC at work.

Corporate PCs can be controlled by policies. If you have an IT department they are the folks to talk to about the corporate PC.

As far as the personal PCs goes, see the last post at Removing Suggested Sites Button. You can also try the file from www.enhanceie.com/dl/disablesuggestedsites.reg.
